Based in Paris, France, Simple is Beautiful creates software for handheld devices, notably the iPhone and iPod Touch. SiB partners are Aymeric Bard, software architect and electronic music composer, and Frederique Krupa, designer and chair of Communication Design at Parsons Paris. SiB frequently collaborates with talented designers and programmers met during their dozen years in game software development at Virtools, now Dassault Systemes.

SiB released their first title, DrumTrack8, a drum step sequencer for the iPhone, in April 2009. A completely revamped version for the iPad, DrumTrackHD, was released in February 2011.

The first game release, SpillPills, an action puzzle game created with Manuel Bichebois, was released in October 2009.

Smack That Gugl for the iPhone was created with Yann Le Corroler (creator of Talking Carl) as part of the Gugl games series and released in December 2010.

Created with Taylor Holland, muggum is their first foray in Photography apps for the iPhone and was released in February 2011.

SiB is currently focusing on developing new games and apps, updating their existing portfolio and porting to other platforms.
